Venetian blinds create a clean and uncluttered look. They don't take up as much of your window sill as vertical blinds so they may ba a consideration if you are concerned about losing too much of your sill. 

They are also extremely functional allowing you to control your privacy, shading and security.

 

Metal venetian blinds are available in 4 widths, 16mm, 25mm, 35mm and 50mm however 25mm is the most common width by far. There is huge amount of choice from hot pink to pastel blue and everything in between.

 

There are aslo a number of special finishes available including wood look a like, perforated, print, marble and metallic effects to give an extensive variety.
